Here is a project I started in Autumn 2018 and finished in August 2019 if I remember correct. So this one, a crocheted belt with arrow pattern, took its time (mostly due to wrong choice of yarn that made it more challenging to crochet). The pattern I used is the same as in Saturday Night (Crochet) Fever and can be found on Pattern-page.
Perhaps this belt isn't the fastest project to create, but I think that it is worth the time and effort it takes. The devil is in the detail they also say and that is what I wrestled with at the end of the project. I wasn't sure if the belt should have a buckle, but then I found this golden one in the lovely local button and sewing shop Nappi-Aitta. When it comes to the other end I just simply folded the edges for a more stylish(?) look. I used golden yarn from Scanfil together with grey DMC Natura Linen and hook size 2 - just as with the bracelets. The belt is 4 cm wide and almost 110 cm long (became longer than intended, but at least this way the belt can be styled in different ways). And if and when I make another one, I will change the linen yarn to some other fiber to make the project more enjoyable to crochet with such a small hook.
Hopefully there is some inspiration here for someone! Wishing you a lovely month of March! Here in Finland it still very much winter and there is a lot of snow on the ground (melting), but there is Spring already in the air and the days are getting longer.
